Chairman's Message Chairman's Message
Our Mission and Goals We made tremendous progress in 2006. Our organization, the American Retina Foundation (ARF), serves as the charitable branch of the American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS), and was created by the ASRS to provide another avenue to fulfill its charitable charter. True to its purpose, the Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the education of the public in retina and vitreous disorders, the continuing medical education of the vitreoretinal specialists in the United States and throughout the world, and the promotion of research for new or more efective treatments of retinal and vitreous diseases. As you'll see, the American Retina Foundation has partnered with the ASRS on a number of intiatives that serve to fulfill its mission of education and research. It is only through the continued support and condidence of ASRS members that the Foundation continues to succeed in its many endeavors. We welcome the opportunity to work together on common agenda items of interest for our practices, and most importantly, the patients served. Thank you for your support of the American Retina Foundation. We ensure that your contributions are wisely used toward the goal of saving vision. Sincerely, Roy A Levit, MD |
